It’s SES week in New York!

Posted by admin on April 10th, 2007 filed in Offtopic

Finally SES arrived in the city and the first party took place at the Town tavern last night, not even 10 minutes away from my office. I usually don’t party that much and try to keep my work low key, but when Neil Patel and his “Crazy Egg” crew, Kevin, Markus aka Mediadonis, Jim Edger, Jim Boykin, Todd, Christoph and some other SEO/SEM “celebrities” show up…it’s a must hang-out event. Especially when it is for charity (thanks to the guys from text link ads!)

The party was a lot of fun and besides getting a few new business contacts, I got some good tips and tricks out of it. I really enjoyed hanging out at these events and the learning effect is much higher than attending some sales pitch sessions.

This year I am so busy with my work that I am going to visit only a few sessions and network events. Luckily my friend Marshall is covering the entire conference (with a focus on webanalytics)!
