NYC Midtown finally gets it’s free wireless, which is not only great, but overdue for years.
The wireless net will be called “CBS Mobile Zone,” a wireless high-speed network enabling New Yorkers with Wi-Fi-enabled cell phones, laptops or other devices to access the Internet for free, and make voice over internet (VOI) calls.
Probably interesting to see, if the wireless works in the 50th floor of the Rockefeller center. If so, it probably makes sense to get a VOIP cellphone or some of the new Nokia mini tablets
