Sorry for the slow posting lately, but I have just turned from a renter into a apartment owner and had to deal with all the trouble that comes with it. I am pretty confident that I could post a 50 page story on how not to buy an apartment . The entire experience of buying a new place in New York is just a pure nightmare.
It’s kind of like opening your wallet at Times Square and letting everybody who walks by take a bill or two.
Besides “Misc. Fees”, my personal highlight was the “Email Fee” in the closing procedure. At the end it didn’t apply to me, but what’s an email fee of $85 supposed to be? Anybody an idea?
Anyways..it’s done and over, so I am heading out on vacation. So… a little bit longer slow news here.
