Marketingsherpa published some interesting results from their latest survey:
Budget for Analytics and Testing
48% Can’t do any a/b testing
44% Can’t measure LP test results
40% Only test at launch & leave forever
16% Don’t share test results w/ agency
How true these numbers are! I have talked to soooo many internet people (from small and largers sites) and most companies just don’t do any advanced web analytics even that they know it exists. I would love to see some stats about Omniture / Webtrends / Coremetrics… clients on that. How many actually use their web analytics tools to pull more than the standard KPI’s.

I agree with you, as an analytics Vendor only a few of our clients are using our system to its full capability.
I would even go as far as to say that there is an important trick being missed by the Web Analytics industry as a whole…
