Web 2.0 tracking part II: Socialmeter

Posted by webmeasurement on August 20th, 2006 filed in Webanalytics general

Socialmeter is a great new tool to measure social activity of websites. It counts how many people have tagged an URL in social bookmarking services and comes up with a socialmeter score.

For all Web 2.0 believer a great new thing. Maybe one day the time comes when search engines evaluate sites on how often they got bookmarked. Unfortunately the tool is currently pretty slow. This might have happened b/c many blogs picked up this nice little tool.
