SNA is the study of the relationships (links) between people (nodes) in a network. SNA combines elements of mathematical graph theory, sociology, and matrix algebra to product quantitative measures that describe patterns of association.

This might be interesting for developers and obviously marketing agencies. How great would it be to find the influentials of Myspace, Digg or Youtube and pay them some cash to promote your service.
