CMS Watch recently released a report that claimed that Google Analytics is not enterprise ready. Some of the reasons were: "* Google Analytics lacks the ability to query against raw data, limiting deeper analysis into site visits.
* Support comes only from Google consultants, who are unable to modify the Google Analytics system.
* The tool has some history of performance problems and lacks automated report distribution."
I get the reasons, but what has this to do with enterprise solutions? The majority of businesses out there gets enough and too much data by using Google analytics or other free web analytics solutions. Saying that Google Analytics is not enterprise ready is just as wrong as telling you, that you cannot use a BMW as a family car.
I at least hope that this generalization brought in some quality links and sales for CMS Watch.
